Overview

The Covid-19 pandemic has ravaged India. It’s one of the world’s worst hit countries. Hundreds of thousands of people have been killed, tens of millions are out of work and many more are on the brink of poverty. During this unprecedented time, illness has emerged as society’s great equalizer. Strangers have become friends and friends, strangers. Through Crisis, India’s Reckoning, a short film and documentary photography series, Cutting Chai Content captures how this virus is affecting, and changing, lives. It explores the people, systems and things which have come to define this time in one of the world’s most populous places.
